Following the announcement of the Apple Music Christmas deal, it seems that Apple has decided to offer more gifts for its users. Aquaman - the latest film in Warner Bros.’ DCEU franchise - continues to make bank worldwide, crossing the $500 million mark at the box office. A new image and piece of concept from Aquaman feature the Atlanteans heading into battle on the backs of some fearsome sea creatures. When Aquaman was first announced as heading to the DCEU with Jason Momoa in the role, the actor and Man of Steel director Zack Snyder tried valiantly to prove the character was tougher than his public perception. Back in 2014, Snyder promised Aquaman would be “badass” and Justice League went out of its way trying to paint the hero as the rockstar of the group....

After issuing WWDC scholarships to winning applicants earlier this week for its upcoming developers conference in June, Apple has now invited winners to a WWDC 2016 orientation on Sunday, June 12th. At the orientation, Apple says scholarship winners will get to “hear insights from Apple engineers, meet other scholarship winners, and get advice from Apple staff on how to get the most out of WWDC.” The orientation takes place one day before Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference officially kicks off on June 13th at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco....

Apple has announced that it will soon support accessing digital health records for veterans through the Health app on iPhone. The development is part of a new agreement with the US Department of Veterans. Health record-sharing supports easily and securely viewing official “immunizations, lab results, medications, and vitals” from your healthcare provider all in one place on the iPhone. Apple says health records are secured through encryption and accessible only with a passcode, Touch ID, or Face ID (fingerprint or facial recognition)....

As we approach World AIDS Day in December, Apple today has unveiled new (PRODUCT)RED color variants for the Beats Pill+ and Beats Solo3 headphones. Specifically, Apple is calling the red color “Citrus Red.” The new color options aren’t available just yet, but are currently listed as “coming soon” on Apple’s website. The price points for the (RED) offerings are the same as the normal color variants. The Beats Pill+ in the “Citrus Red” choice comes in at $229....

The Billie Holiday Theatre recently recorded a new version of their critically acclaimed work ’12 Angry Mend … And Women; The Weight of the Wait’ at Apple’s Steve Jobs Theater. In May, it was revealed that Apple had hired Stella Low, a former Cisco executive, to serve as its new vice president of corporate communications. Apple today has updated its Apple Leadership website to make the move official, giving Low the title of “vice president of communications” and noting that she reports to Apple CEO Tim Cook.
